Central Appliance Service is a family run independent repair company.  Kerry and I feel it is important to help you get the most out of your kitchen and laundry equipment. Appliances have certainly changed over the last decade.  We used to have very basic needs but as our expectations have changed the appliance industry has worked to integrate new technology to meet those demands.  With energy efficiency and convenience being top requirements.  Most new appliances have delicate electronics orchestrating all of the functions.  Maintaining your appliances will get the most life out of them.  We recommend annual dryer duct clean out, if you have pets a refrigerator should have the condenser coils cleaned once a year or more, keeping the door gaskets clean will help them keep the warm air out.  All new appliances if possible should be plugged into a surge protector at the electrical outlet.  This will protect the appliance electronics from power fluctuations which can take a toll on the computer boards.  Dishwashers should have a vinegar rinse done once or twice a year and the clothes washer more often.
